CBS series 'Blue Bloods' to conclude with final season in fall 2024
(CBS 58) -- Long running CBS drama series "Blue Bloods," featuring Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Will Estes among its star-studded cast, is set to air its final 14th season in fall 2024. The show, which has been a CBS mainstay since its debut, portrays a multi-generational family involved in New York City law enforcement.
Since its premiere in Sept. 2010, "Blue Bloods" has consistently led CBS's Friday night lineup, securing its place as Friday’s number one primetime program and ranking third among broadcast dramas, according to a Monday, Nov. 20 press release from the network.
The series has aimed to offer a blend of police procedural and family drama, with the mixture garnering over 9.54 million viewers in the 2022-23 season and even higher figures accounting for multiplatform viewing on Paramount+.
Executive producer Kevin Wade expressed gratitude for the show's success and the opportunity to explore complex narratives over the years in the press release. "CBS Studios and the CBS Television Network encouraged us to tell our stories in multi-layered narratives that have gone on to resonate with millions of people, and we thank them for their unwavering partnership and collaboration."

The final season begins on Friday, Feb. 16, 2024.
