MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The results are in from the We Energies peregrine falcon chick naming contest, and CBS 58 has reason to celebrate. One of this year's newly hatched chicks will be named "Lance Talon" in honor of CBS 58 Sports Director Lance Allan.

Evening news anchor Jessob Reisbeck came in as a runner-up with the name "Jessob Reis-Beak."

Nearly 30,000 votes were cast across the contest, which featured names inspired by Milwaukee news anchors from stations across the area. One winning name was selected from each participating station.

The current batch includes six hatched chicks, with three more eggs expected to hatch early next week. Those chicks will receive runner-up names if they hatch.
