MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee can anticipate a busy weekend ahead, filled with family-friendly events.
Joe Krauss, host of B93.3's "Feel Good Mornings," joined us on Friday, June 9, to highlight the most exciting events happening in the city over the coming weekend.
Veterans Park is hosting the Water Lantern Festival, offering an enchanting view of floating lanterns. The festival features food trucks and numerous interactive activities. The event is set to take place from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, the city's longstanding Polish Fest kicks off on Friday, lasting until Sunday, June 11. It invites folks to immerse themselves in Polish culture with traditional music, food and performances.
In Greenfield, at Konkel Park, the "Touch-a-Truck" event invites children to get up close with larger-than-life versions of their toy trucks. The event includes car races, face painting, balloon animals and a variety of food options, including Chick-Fil-A. It's scheduled for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine.
More information can be found by visiting B93.3 online.
