CBS 58 Asks Mayor Barrett What He Wants For Christmas

Milwaukee's City and County Christmas Tree was harvested this Thursday Morning.

The big donation came from 74 Street and Teutonia. It took just minutes for the 40-foot Colorado Blue Spruce to come down.

Then it was hoisted on a flatbed truck and transported with the help of a police escort to red arrow park. a one and half hour journey.

We spoke to the tree donors this morning.

The tree lighting ceremony will be on November 19.

Mayor Tom Barrett was at this morning's event and he and CBS 58's Michael Schlesinger had a little discussion about the upcoming holidays take a listen.

CBS 58: What do you want for Christmas?

Mayor: What do I want for Christmas? That's a tough one. I’m not used to these difficult questions.

CBS 58: Ok you can get back to me.
