MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- An accused drunk driver leads deputies on a high-speed chase through Milwaukee.
He's now charged with his 6th OWI.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office says the chase reached speeds up to 95 MPH.
The pursuit began just before midnight on Saturday night. A deputy tried to stop 48-year-old Michael Shilbauer for deviating between lanes near 86th and Helena.
He sped off, onto the freeway, then onto city streets with the deputy close behind him.
At one point, Shilbauer rammed the patrol car and got away. His car was later found abandoned at 80th and Casper.
Officers were able to track the license plate to Shilbauer's home.
He's due in court Friday.
