BAYSIDE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- New video has been released of a wild pursuit on I-43.
Police say a man is lucky no one got hurt after he ran from officers in the middle of the freeway.
"I'm right down the road. I'm just three exits away. Sir can we talk but let me put you in handcuffs. But why you gotta put me in handcuffs? Because something's not adding up here." The exchange was caught on camera.
The man argued with police. When they tried to arrest him, he made a run for it.
Officers chased him across two lanes. You can see a semi truck speed by in the video.
The suspect then dashed across the road to his SUV and took off. He crashed a short time later and ran again but was ultimately caught.
