3-alarm fire damages vacant Milwaukee warehouse
SOUTH MILWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) – An employee who was injured while working in Caterpillar’s weld shop has died from his injuries.
The 60-year-old man was seriously hurt after being hit by a steel plate on Thursday, May 10.
The South Milwaukee Police Department, Milwaukee District Attorney’s Office, and OSHA are all investigating the death.
In a statement, a Caterpillar spokeswoman says the company extends their thoughts and prayers, adding they’ve arranged for counseling to be available to employees who request it.
