GLENDALE, Wis. (CBS58) -- Five days after the partial collapse of a parking garage at Bayshore shopping center, 56 cars remain stuck inside the structure.
On Monday, Feb. 27, CBS 58 learned how the car removal process will work.
"Starting this week, Bayshore management and Bayshore Security will be conducting stages of vehicle removal with their owners for those parked on the second floor of the structure. A temporary ramp is being installed by engineers connecting the first level to the second level to aid in that process," Bayshore representatives said in a statement.
Car owners can expect to be escorted to their vehicles, confirm their ownership, retrieve their key, and then the Bayshore management official will be the ones who drive their vehicle out of the parking garage.
If you have a vehicle on the second or third level of the parking garage and have not reported it being affected, you are encouraged to contact Heather Hansen, Bayshore Management Office, at [email protected] or call 414-433-3156.
