Carjacking on Milwaukee's West Side Leaves Three Victims Injured

A 67-year-old Milwaukee man was hit by a man and woman who stole his vehicle and then crashed the vehicle into another vehicle during a police pursuit.

Milwaukee Police are investigating a pursuit that ended in a crash on the City’s West Side on Wednesday night.

Officers located a stolen black Honda Crosstour near 49th and Center around 6:45 p.m. on February 3.  The car was stolen around 2:55 p.m. that same day during an armed robbery in the 3000 block of S. Wentworth Avenue when a suspect approached the victim, a 67-year-old Milwaukee man, struck him, and stole the car.

Officers attempted to stop the Crosstour near 49th and Center but it fled from the scene and officers began a pursuit.  At 55th and Locust, the car collided with another vehicle.

Two people from the Crosstour, a 24-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman, were taken into custody.  The driver and the passenger inside the vehicle that was hit were transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

MPD will present this case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days for charges.
