Car smashes into construction equipment in Wauwatosa

WAUWATOSA -- Wauwatosa emergency responders worked for several hours Thursday night to clear up the scene of a major accident at Mayfair Road and North Avenue after a car crashed into a front end loader.
The crash happened right before 10:30p.m. and preliminary reports said a person was unresponsive, suffered severe facial and head injuries and needed to be extracted.
Wauwatosa police have yet to release details on the crash and condition of the car's occupants.
The intersection reopened shortly after 2:30 a.m. Friday.
