Car crashes into bar after fleeing from officers

Milwaukee Police are investigating after a vehicle fled from police and then crashed into a bar.

The incident started around 8:00 PM on Saturday when Milwaukee Police officers on bike patrol noticed an illegally parked Honda.

When officers attempted to speak to the driver he fled in the vehicle and struck an officer's bicycle.

While continuing to flee the car stuck another vehicle and crashed into Reyna's Bar near 6th and Harrison causing minor damage to the building.

The suspect in the Honda fled on foot leaving behind a firearm in the vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle that was hit suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital.

The bicycle officer was not injured.

Milwaukee Police continue to investigate and search for the suspect.
