CAPTURED: CBS-58 Viewer tip Leads to FBI Arrest

For the second time this year, a viewer tip has led to an arrest as part of our FBI Unsolved Robberies series.

On Monday night, we told you about 23-year-old Jaylen Campbell, wanted for helping rob a Wauwatosa pharmacy in August.

The FBI says one of you saw our coverage, and called in a tip. Less than 24 hours later, Campbell was in custody.

According to Federal Agents, that caller told authorities that Campbell was hiding in Greenville, South Carolina.

"They went to the house early this morning, and were able to take Jaylen into custody without incident," says Asst. Special Agent in Charge Robert Botsch. "This is exactly how it's supposed to work."

Authorities believe Campbell and three others were armed when they robbed the Swan Serv-U Pharmacy in Wauwatosa over the summer. His accomplices were captured, but Campbell got away. Agents have been unable to track him down in Milwaukee.

"Unfortunately, when these guys are involved in violent crimes, they flee. And sometimes they will flee a lot further than a neighborhood away, or a state away." says Botsch. "This subject fled more than 1,000 miles away, down to the east coast."

Campbell is set to be brought back to Wisconsin, where he's facing Federal Armed Robbery charges.

Viewers who call in tips regarding FBI Unsolved Robberies could be eligible for a reward.
