Canine Cupids Starts St. Patrick's Celebrations Early for Luck Of the Dog Fundraiser Saturday at Dugout 54

Canine Cupids takes on some of the worst cases of animal abuse.

For years, it has filled the gaps that standard animal control couldn't handle or afford.

For as serious as the animal rescues are, this is one group that knows how to raise money in a fun way.

It will hold its annual "Luck of the Dog" fundraiser Saturday, March 4th at Dugout 54 near 54th and Blue Mound in Milwaukee.

The event starts at 5 p.m. and will include Irish themed entertainment and raffle and silent auction items.

If you do pop in, be sure to say hello to CBS 58's Michele McCormack a longtime supporter of the event who has documented some of Canine Cupid's biggest success stories.

Canine Cupids focuses primarily on homeless dogs in the Milwaukee area.

Their mission and motto is clear; dogs are our best friends and every pooch deserves to find their perfect companion.
