Campaign manager for state superintendent candidate Deborah Kerr steps down

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Brendan Savage, the campaign manager for Wisconsin schools superintendent candidate Deborah Kerr, has resigned.

He said that while he was happy to help her through the primary in a seven-way race, he was no longer going to be able to provide to her general election strategy.

Savage says they had a long conversation Friday, Feb. 19, and parted ways on good terms.
