Milwaukee (CBS 58)--For you Mother's Day procrastinators, we have just the gift for you. Buy something local and hand crafted from a network of 25 artists across the state who make up the Wisconsin Designer Crafts Council. These artisans could use a little business seeing the current pandemic has shuttered so many art shops and galleries. What they're doing is called an online boutique, and the choices are many.
Jean Wells, president of the Wisconsin Designer Crafts Council, says there's so much to choose from, including jewelry, wood, ceramics, fiber, quilting items, and prints as well.
Click here to peruse what Wisconsin Designer Crafts Council has available to purchase. Keep in mind, with many of these artists, there's direct shipping and in some cases curbside pickup.
