Burger King and Wendy's on North Side of Milwaukee Robbed by the Same Suspect

A Burger King and Wendy’s were robbed on Thursday by a suspect that Milwaukee has taken into custody.

District Three officers responded to the Burger King at 5812 W. Lisbon Avenue around 5:00 p.m. on April 28 for a report of an armed robbery.

A male suspect went into the restaurant armed with a gun, demanded money from the cashier, and fled from the scene with the money.

As the suspect was leaving the building, District Three officers arrived and arrested him. They also recovered a 9mm gun from the suspect. It’s believed the same suspect, a 28-year-old Milwaukee man, is responsible for an attempted armed robbery at the Wendy’s at 633 W. North Avenue around 3:25 p.m. that same day.
