Bullet Strikes Front Window of a Concordia University Satellite Center Classroom

Shots were fired at 4151 N. 56th Street, the Mid Town Shopping Center, around 6:21 PM on Tuesday, according to Milwaukee Police.

The circumstances remain unclear surrounding the incident.

The shots were fired in a nearby parking lot.

One of those rounds struck a front glass window of a Concordia University Satellite Center ending up in an unoccupied classroom, according to Milwaukee Police. 

The professor and 36 students went on lock down for a short time prior to the arrival of officers.

Milwaukee Police do not believe at this time that the university was the target and there were no injuries.
