Bucks will retire Marques Johnson's jersey in March

Long-time Milwaukee Bucks player Marques Johnson will be honored at the Bucks vs. Cleveland Cavaliers game on March 24 when the team formally retires his No. 8 jersey at FiServ Forum.

Johnson played for the Bucks from 1977-84, appearing in 524 games. He averaged 21 points per game as a Buck.

Johnson is currently serving as an analyst for Bucks broadcasts on FOX Sports Wisconsin.

The Bucks originally selected Johnson with their third overall pick in the 1977 NBA Draft. Johnson played college basketball at UCLA, winning a National Championship in 1975.

Johnson is also a nominee for the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
