MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Bucks unveiled their new Bucks Gaming team and logo Thursday on CBS 58. Bucks Gaming is Milwaukee's team in the new professional NBA 2K e-sports league launching in May 2018.
Bucks Chief Marketing Officer Dustin Godsey appeared on CBS 58 Morning News to show off the new logo, and explain how to try-out for the team.
Throughout January there will be a worldwide tryout period for gamers 18-years-old and up. All prospective players need to win 50 games in NBA 2K18’s Pro-Am mode and complete an online application by Jan. 31 to receive an invitation to the next round of tryouts in February. The NBA 2K League Qualifier is available to anyone in the world who has a copy of NBA 2K18 (XboxOne or PS4) and is 18 or older. Details here at Bucksgg.com.
Godsey also showed off the new 50th anniversary book which will be on sale in the Bucks pro shop beginning December 15th.
