Bucks sign Brook Lopez to 2-year/$48 million extension

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Bucks continue to keep their championship window alive, signing Brook Lopez to a 2-year/$48 million contract extension.

Lopez came off perhaps one of the best seasons of his career at 35 years old -- finishing as a frontrunner for the NBA Defensive Player of the Year award.

Lopez averaged 15.9 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists last season with the Bucks.

Milwaukee retains two of their biggest names this offseason -- signing Khris Middleton and now Lopez, keeping two cornerstone pieces around Giannis.
