Bucks announce coaching staff, Dobner named first female assistant coach in team history

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Bucks have announced their coaching staff for the 2023 season -- including a few promotions from within.

The team has officially named their full coaching staff, which includes Terry Stotts and Joe Prunty. Both coaches had previous stints in Milwaukee.

The team also promoted Sidney Dobner to become the first female assistant coach in Bucks history.

Dobner has been with the Bucks organization for quite some time now.

She was promoted to head video coordinator at the start of last season after spending the previous season as the team's video coordinator.

Prior to that, Dobner began her Bucks career as a basketball operations intern for the 2019-2020 season.

Prior to her time with the Bucks, Dobner also worked for the Wisconsin Herd as a video associate/coach from 2018-2020.

Dobner also played basketball professionally for the FSG Academy in the Netherlands.
