WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Bucks are cheering up patients at Froedtert Hospital this month.
Shooting guard A.J. Green visited the hospital Monday, March 20, but he also sat down with patients in Froedtert's rehabilitation facilities.
Green was injured while playing for Northern Iowa. He underwent hip surgery in 2020 that ended his season.
Now, he says, he knows what can help people in recovery.
"I know it's not always easy. I've had injuries I've dealt with. It really helps when you have people around you to kind of lift you up and spend time with," Green said. "If I could spend 20 minutes with them and it it makes their day, that's something I'll choose to do every time."
Other Bucks players will also be making visits to Froedtert this month.
