Brown Deer Police respond to home after father claims 16-year-old son has knife

BROWN DEER, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 44-year-old male called the police to report that his 16-year-old son was armed with a knife.

Police responded to the home where they learned that the man was upset because his son did not want to clean his room.

The juvenile told police he was upset because his father took his phone and wanted to take his birthday money as well.

Police learned that the 16-year-old did not threaten anyone with a knife but did pick it up and put it back down immediately.

The father did not want to be a complainant against his son but did want him to leave for the evening.

No charges will be filed.
