Brown Deer Police respond after 10-year-old calls 911 saying he had hostages

On Wednesday the Brown Deer Police Department investigated a report of juvenile trouble in the 4300 block of W Bradley Road.
The 911 caller said they had hostages. When police arrived they found a 10-year-old boy and 11-year-old boy. The 10-year-old admitted to making the call as a result of a dare from the 11-year-old.
Both boys were returned to their parents and counseled on appropriate usage of 911.
