Brown Deer Police called after 12-year-old uses mom's credit card to make $1,000 purchase

BROWN DEER, Wis. (CBS 58) -- An argument between a mother and her daughter leads to a visit from Brown Deer Police.

According to police, a 48-year-old woman reported that her 12-year-old daughter was throwing things around in the house. Investigators learned the two were arguing because the girl used her mother's credit card to make a $1,000 purchase.

Police say the mother did not file a complaint and that officers spoke to the 12-year-old about her actions.
