MILWAUKEE, (CBS 58) -- We have a traffic note for anyone who lives on or visits Milwaukee's east side.

Starting next Wed., North Avenue between Oakland and Bartlett will be completely closed to traffic for several months.

They're rebuilding the bridge deck over the Oak Leaf Trail, and they expect the project to take about five months. The bridge is expected to reopen in July.

That project is only about a block away from where a giant sinkhole swallowed up an SUV in 2010.

The driver survived. A good Samaritan pulled him out.

Once again, the bridge repair project between Oakland and Bartlett starts one week from Feb. 16.
