Brewers sue sauce company over failed payments

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Brewers Baseball Club is suing a sauce company based in Wyoming for failing to make payments on its sponsorship agreement.

The Brewers allege Wyoming Sauce Company didn't pay the $105,000 owed for last year.

The lawsuit says in 2018, the Brewers and the sauce company made a deal that would go through 2021, but because of the pandemic, the Brewers canceled the agreement for the 2020 season and extended it to cover the 2022 season.

The Brewers are now asking for $215,000 in damages, plus interest.

We reached out to the team, its lawyers and Wyoming Sauce for comment but have not yet heard back.
