MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee will be featured on 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert' Friday night, Oct. 1, following the CBS 58 News at 10 p.m.
The feature includes the Milwaukee Brewers' sausage race taking center stage as part of Colbert's "Milwaukee Apology Tour."
Colbert's apology tour is in response to a segment Colbert aired last August making fun of Milwaukee.
Following his comments, the national host got a lot of heat for bashing the Cream City.
In fact, it was the Milwaukee Brewers who used Twitter to invite Colbert to town to experience tailgating at American Family Field and to run in the sausage race.
CBS 58 was with the late night crew when they came to town a few weeks ago.
Our Nicole Koglin had a chance to talk to Colbert before the sausage race, see the video above!
