Brewers release 2018 schedule with times

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The Milwaukee Brewers have announced the team’s 2018 regular-season schedule, including home and road times.

The season begins on Thursday, March 29 at San Diego at 3:10 p.m. Following their three-game series against the Padres (March 29-31) and an off day on Sunday, April 1,the home opener will take place on Monday, April 2 vs. St. Louis at 1:10 p.m.

The opening homestand features a three-game series vs. St. Louis (April 2-4) and four-game series vs. Chicago-NL (April 5-8).The team’s longest homestand of 2018 is a 10-game stretch vs. Arizona (May 21-23), New York-NL (May24-27) and St. Louis (May 28-30).

The longest road trip directly precedes the season-long homestand, a 10-game, 11-day trip to Colorado (May 10-13), Arizona (May 14-16) and Minnesota (May 18-20).

The 2018 interleague schedule features games against each team in the A.L. Central Division, including home-and-away series with Cleveland, Kansas City and Minnesota. Additional interleague games will be played at Chicago (June 1-3) and at home vs. Detroit (September 28-30) to close out the regular season.

The Brewers play at home on Father’s Day (June 17 vs. Philadelphia at 1:10 p.m. CT), the Fourth of July(vs. Minnesota at 3:10 p.m. CT) and Labor Day (September 3 vs. Chicago-NL at 1:10 p.m. CT) in 2018.

The majority of weekday night games at Miller Park will start at 7:10 p.m. CT (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night games in April, May and September 17-19 will start at 6:40 p.m. CT).Most weekday day games at Miller Park will start at 1:10 p.m. CT (eight games) with the rest starting at 12:10 p.m. CT (three games), 12:40 p.m. CT (Weather Day - April 18 vs. Cincinnati) and 3:10 p.m. CT(two games). Most Saturday games at Miller Park will start at 6:10 p.m. CT (eight games) with the rest starting at 3:10p.m. CT (four games) and 3:05 p.m. CT (April 7 vs. Chicago-NL).

Sunday games at Miller Park are scheduled to start at 1:10 p.m. CT with the exception of September 30 vs. Detroit (2:10 p.m. CT).
