Brewers pound out 16 hits in trip-opening win

SAN DIEGO - Ryan Braun put on another hitting clinic in San Diego Monday, hitting his 6th home run at the Padres home stadium as the Brewers routed the Padres 10-1 in the first of nine straight games on the road.

Aramis Ramirez stayed hot and the Brewers pounded out 16 hits in a park that's normally considered to be very pitcher-friendly.

Kyle Lohse allowed just one run in his return to the rotation after an ankle problem cost Lohse a start.

The same two teams battle Tuesday and Wednesday night before the Brewers head to San Francisco for the weekend.
