BROOKFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- After 17 games in 17 days, you deserve a night off. But not for Milwaukee Brewers Manager Pat Murphy, a man of the people. On Monday night, Aug. 17, Murphy made an appearance with an autograph signing at Lexus of Brookfield.
Murphy spoke about the positive outcome of the Dodgers series.
"I haven't seen us come together. And there was real sparks and flashes of it this weekend. We were down after San Diego; nothing went right. We're injured, very badly. Some key people. And then to see us respond the way we did, without full strength. You know, without Turang, without Uribe. And be able to respond the way they did? I'm just really, really thankful," said Murphy.
