Brewers hosting Black Culture Fest at American Family Field

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Brewers will host Black Culture Fest, presented by Aurora Health Care, on Friday, Aug. 21 at American Family Field, according to Ranell Washington, vice president of Social X MKE, who joined us Tuesday, Aug. 18 to preview the event.

The event highlights Black artists, entrepreneurs, organizations and performers from around Milwaukee. It will feature a marketplace with Black-owned businesses and nonprofits, local marching bands, live entertainment, an interactive art experience and educational opportunities.

Milwaukee hip-hop artist Wave Chapelle will throw the ceremonial first pitch.

The Terrace Level will include arts and crafts, face painting and flash tattoos, and music runs from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the UW Credit Union Plaza.
