MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- One loss isn’t changing the mood among Brewers fans.

After Milwaukee fell to the San Diego Padres in Game 3, fans are still confident the Brewers can close out the series and advance to the National League Championship Series.

More than 3,000 people packed a watch party for Game 3, and another crowd is expected Wednesday night outside American Family Field.

For Angela Schmidt, the belief starts at home. She has turned a room in her house into a Brewers collection she calls “Uecker’s Pointe,” filling it with jerseys, baseballs and other memorabilia.

“This is called Uecker’s Pointe. I’ve been putting it together for the past year, and little by little with jerseys, baseballs and other such,” Schmidt said.

Her favorite pieces: “My Uecker jersey and my signed, autographed balls that I recently got,” Schmidt said.

The room has become more than just a collection. Schmidt said it is a place where friends and family gather to enjoy the Brewers together.

“My friends and family come over and enjoy the room with me, it’s warm,” Schmidt said.

After watching the Brewers progress throughout the season, Schmidt said she remains firmly behind the team.

“Watching them progress each game, it been amazing and phenomenal. I am so team Brewers,” Schmidt said.

And after the Game 3 loss, she has a simple message for the team.

“We got this. Yesterday I fluked and didn't wear my blue eyeliner, but today I am. We got this,” Schmidt said.

Aliesha Rauls knows what it is like to cheer for the Padres. She grew up in San Diego and once considered herself a big Padres fan.

“The Padres maybe went to the World Series that year and I was a huge Padres fan,” Rauls said.

After moving to Wisconsin, though, Rauls found a new team in the Brewers.

“We have traveled to watch them play now, so I would say we definitely are big Brewers fans,” Rauls said.

Rauls already has tickets for Game 5, but she is hoping she won’t need them.

“I have tickets to Game 5 but I’m hoping we don’t need them,” Rauls said.

For now, she is still confident Milwaukee can finish the series Wednesday night.

“I’m hopeful, I think they’re going to do it tonight,” Rauls said.

Her message to the team is just as simple: “Go Brewers!”

The watch party at UW Credit Union Plaza outside American Family Field is sold out. Thousands of fans are expected to arrive starting at 8 p.m., one hour before first pitch.

Fans will fill the area in navy and gold, hoping to see a very different outcome Wednesday night and believing the Brewers still have what it takes to move on.
