MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Hundreds of fans made their way to American Family Field Monday, Sept. 27, to get their hands on Brewers division title gear.

"It's just exciting. It's going to be great for the city. It's going to be like Las Vegas down here," Kevin Berry said.

Brewers fans are gearing up for next week's playoff run. Linda Carlton was at Sunday night's game and came back to American Family Field to pick up some NL Central Division Champions gear.

"To get to this point again...it's always thrilling," Carlton said.

Hundreds of other fans made their way to the Brewers Team Store. The store still had plenty of T-shirts, sweaters and hats to pick from Monday afternoon.

"I'm getting it while it's hot and everyone else should be doing the same thing," Dale Williams said.

Businesses are saying all the events in Milwaukee are a breath of fresh air after last year's difficulties due to COVID-19, but they said there are still difficulties they're facing, as they prepare for the Brewers' post-season run.

"It's an exciting time, obviously with the Bucks doing it and now the Brewers," said Cream City Concepts Director of Marketing Jack Roman.

He said there are still difficulties though.

"Obviously we're in a little bit of a staffing shortage, a lot of industries across the country are. We're going to do our best," said Roman, adding that they'll be running shuttles to games.

Some items, like chicken wings, are off the menu due to ongoing shortages caused by various COVID-19 related factors.

"Because we weren't able to get it, we weren't able to get consistent quality, some other things that I'm seeing right now, ironically juices and sodas, bottled water is running out," said Roman.

He said that's why they're asking people to be patient and respectful when heading out to Brewers games, as there are more of you than them.

Tickets for the playoffs are also about to get hot. Ticket King saw a big spike in sales Monday morning. Partner James Bryce Jr. said they already have some for sale through season ticket holders.

"Once you start moving forward, the price of tickets will go up significantly," Bryce said.

If you plan on heading to a game, he recommends getting your tickets as soon as possible. Tickets for the playoff games at American Family Field go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28.
