MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Despite being a couple thousand miles away, Brewers fans are still getting together Tuesday night, here at home. 

Energy is high at the UW Credit Union Plaza outside American Family Field, where around 3,000 fans got tickets to the Game 3 watch party. 

Some people were in line as early as 4 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. opening. 

We spoke with fans ahead of the game about what it means to be out here and the importance of rooting on the Crew while they're on the other side of the country. 

“It’s just the environment, to be honest, like all the fans, the fan base, like Milwaukee, I was born in Milwaukee -- best city, in my opinion. Love living here, it’s just all about the fans and support," said Brewers fan Dominic Danko.
