Brewers Fans Don't Mind Cold Camping Out for Arctic Tailgate

While the Milwaukee Brewers are practicing in sunny Phoenix, some diehard fans back at home decided to brave the cold.

Outside Miller Park, tents are pitched and the campfire is going strong as fans wait anxiously for Saturday's Arctic tailgate party.

"This is our team," said Karl Rauch, who has participated in the Arctic Tailgate for eleven years.

The team banned the event in 2015 due to dangerously cold temperatures, but Rauch was glad to be back ahead of next season.

"It's a camaraderie," he said.

Saturday morning is when fans can buy their tickets. The first 2,000 people waiting in line will also get t-shirts and food.

Opening day for the Brewers is April 4, when they take on the San Francisco Giants.
