GERMANTOWN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Instead of bagging a few hits for the Crew, today, you may have spotted Brewers rookie Brice Turang bagging groceries.
He was at Fleet Farm in Germantown bagging items and helping customers get what they need to work on home projects over the holiday weekend.
Not only that, he surprised customers by paying their bills.
"It was great, getting to give back to the community, they show up, they support us, so giving back. It was awesome," said Brice Turang.
Turang's acts of kindness were part of the 7th annual Milwaukee Brewers Kindness MKE initiative.
Another way the team hopes to give back to the community -- picking up the tab tonight.
They host the San Fransisco Giants at American Family Field.
