BREAKING: Death investigation in Cudahy

A man was found dead outside a home in Cudahy Tuesday morning.

Police received a call from someone passing by the 2500-block of Adams Court, the person reported an unresponsive man.

Chief Tom Poellet told CBS-58 when officers and firefighters arrived on the scene, the man already died. Chief Poellet did not say what led up to the man's death, what type of injuries he suffered, or who he is.

Investigators are looking the death as a homicide case.  An autopsy is pending with the Milwaukee Medical Examiner's Office. 

Officers blocked off several streets during Tuesday morning's commute to collect evidence from the scene.  CBS-58 crews saw officers going through garbage cans and looking under several cars parked in the quiet residential neighborhood.

No suspects are in custody.

Chief Poellet said case appears to be an isolated incident, and the public should not be alarmed.  He encouraged anyone with information on this case to call Cudahy Police.
