Boy Scout troop continues 60 year tradition of selling Christmas trees

MILWAUKEE-- It's a long-standing tradition that's in its 60th year. Boy Scout Troop 61 is out at the corner of 68th and Burleigh in Milwaukee, selling Christmas trees and wreaths to raise money for trips and camps in the upcoming year. The scoutmaster says making sales helps teach the boys valuable lessons.

\"They learn something from this. They learn how to talk to people, to sell them something, and to be cheerful about it, when they help get the trees on their cars,” Greg Harrington says.

If you want a tree, don't wait until the last minute. The troop usually sells out a couple of days before Christmas.
