Bostick says he's been released by Packers

Packers tight end and special teams player Brandon Bostick tweeted Monday afternoon that he had been released by the team.

\"Thankful to spend the first three years of my career in Green Bay,\" Bostick tweeted. \"Unfortunately my time there has ended. I appreciate the support from everyone in Green Bay.\"

Bostick spent three years in Green Bay and caught two touchdown passes, including one in the 2014 season, but will be best known as the player who botched the catch on Seattle's onside kick late in the NFC Championship Game. The Seahawks recovered and went on to win the game in overtime. Bostick played just 34 snaps on offense in 2014.
