Body of Illinois man found in Kenosha County lake

KENOSHA COUNTY -- Search crews have found the body of 66-year-old John Spoor, an Illinois resident who went missing on Silver Lake on September 16.
Authorities say the fisherman's family called police after he didn't return home from a fishing trip on Silver Lake. Investigators found his empty boat on the lake and his car parked near the lake.
Spoor's body was found floating in Silver Lake near the Town of Salem at 8:24 a.m. on September 19.
The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department will continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding Spoor's disappearance.
