MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are investigating after a body was found in a burnt garage early Wednesday morning.
Police say they were called to the area of 15th and Burleigh on Milwaukee's north side around 4:45 a.m. They say a parking checking checker was flagged down for a garage fire and the parking checker called police.

Police say while investigating the fire, they discovered the body of a person who they believe is a female.
Police are still investigating and the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office says an autopsy will be performed Thursday.
