Body found behind building near 20th and National; Police say possible overdose

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police have reported that the body found in the area of 19th and National Saturday morning was the result of a possible overdose death. Police were called to the area when the body of a 29-year-old woman was found on the ground. The MPD is continuing to investigate the death.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is currently investigating after a body was found behind a building.

It happened around 11 a.m. Saturday near 20th and National.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner is conducting the death investigation.

The investigation is in the preliminary stages, but police do not believe the death is suspicious at this time.
