Boat crash at Milwaukee Harbor injures three

MILWAUKEE -- Several emergency agencies assisted in a boat rescue at the Milwaukee Harbor Aug. 14 after a boat crashed into a breakwall.

Milwaukee police say their department assisted the Milwaukee Fire Department and U.S. Coast Guard in responding to a boat crash just east of the War Memorial around 9:30 p.m.

Four people were aboard the 25-foot cabin cruiser and were taken to McKinley Marina after the boat hit the outer breakwall, according to police. A 90-year-old man and two 60-year-old men were taken to the hospital.

Police are working to determine if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
