BloodCenter Of Wisconsin Facing Shortage of O-Negative Blood

The BloodCenter of Wisconsin says they are facing an O-negative shortage.

The say much of their supply has gone to victims of recent area shootings and other emergencies, like car accidents.

Right now, the BloodCenter currently has only less than a half day supply of O-negative blood, and with the Memorial Day weekend quickly approaching they are concerned without it, it could have a devastating effect on those who may need it..

BloodCenter staff are asking anyone who can to make a blood donations at any of their donor centers.
