CBS 58 JEFFERSON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Wisconsin's latest bird flu case is confirmed in Jefferson County.
The commercial farm has over a million birds on site, and they'll all be euthanized in order to prevent the virus from spreading.
The property is also being quarantined, and a perimeter is being set up around the area to keep other flocks safe.
This marks the first time the highly contagious virus has been confirmed in Wisconsin in 2026.
