Beaver Dam community raises $50,000 for victims of apartment explosion

BEAVER DAM, Wis. (CBS 58) – The Beaver Dam Community stepped up in a big way to help people who lost nearly everything after an apartment explosion.

The Police Department says the community has raised more than $50,000.

An apartment exploded back on March 5, killing 28-year-old Benjamin Morrow. Police found bomb-making materials inside.

The building was too dangerous to live in so it was demolished in a controlled burn last week.
