Bayshore Town Center revamp plan gets first go-ahead, now goes to Common Council

GLENDALE, Wis. (CBS 58) – Plans for a makeover of the Bayshore Town Center in Glendale are moving forward.

According to the city, the Plan Commission and Community Development Authority unanimously endorsed the financing proposal.

It’s a pay-as-you-go tax increment financing. The developer pays the nearly $37 million up front and they get the money back in tax breaks assuming they make the promised investments.

The plan now goes to the Common Council for a vote on June 24.
