Basketball Fever Runs High for Local High School Teams Too

Excitement over basketball goes beyond March Madness as boys high school teams all across the area head to state the next few days.  We paid a visit to Brookfield Central during our morning show today.  The Division One Lancers have gotten to the semi-finals twice in the past but have never taken the top prize.  Both the team members and coach say their expectations are in check, and they’re treating this experience as nothing too of the ordinary.

I even had the chance to learn how to free throw effectively and even do a few lay ups.  Good television.  Maybe.  Sort of.

Other local teams going include Milwaukee Washington (the only MPS school in the competition), Cedarburg, and Arrowhead.
