Badgers WR Markus Allen arrested at Mifflin Street block party

MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Badgers football player was one of dozens of people arrested at the annual Mifflin Street block party in Madison yesterday.

The Dane County Sheriff's Office says wide receiver Markus Allen faces charges of being armed while intoxicated.

He is due in court on June 26.

The UW athletic department is aware of the situation.

Allen played in six games for the Badgers last season, scoring his first career touchdown during a win over Northwestern.
